A family of six has been displaced from their Tualatin home due to damages caused by a fire on Wednesday.
Smoke was reported coming from a duplex about 5:45 p.m. in the 6900 block of Southwest Napa Court, said Brian Barker, a Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue spokesman. Firefighters found flames in the attic of the home.
The fire was contained to the attic and extinguished, Barker said. No one was reported injured. The home also sustained smoke and water damages.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Barker said the family plans to stay with relatives.
