You won?t be able to peek at the bright red, purple, yellow and blue jerseys of the preschool pop band the Wiggles when they begin their new ?Wiggles Radio Show? on Sirius XM satellite radio next Monday, but their bouncy songs, stories and adventures will let you know you have hit the right spot. The fun will take off at Kids Place Live, channel 78, Monday through Friday, from? noon to 3 p.m, Sirius XM executives are expected to announce Tuesday.
?The Wiggles are the legendary pop stars of the kids? world,? said Kenny Curtis, senior director of kids and entertainment programming. ?With over 20 years in the business, they have the creativity and expertise to do some amazing radio for kids and families; we are looking forward to turning them loose on Sirius.? He added: ?I am very excited to take their content and expertise in a new direction. They all met because of their background in early childhood education.?
The show will include music and other fun from the four original Wiggles ? Greg Page, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Anthony Field, as well as the new Wiggles: Emma Watkins, Lachlan Gillespie and Simon Pyrce, who will make their debuts next year. The Wiggles will play their favorite songs (?Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car?) and hang out with Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus. The show will also feature ?Radio Theater? adventure stories created exclusively for Kids Place listeners. In one show Henry the Octopus goes hip-hop and in another the usually sleepy Jeff cannot sleep.
The group began in Australia. After 21 years, 23 million DVDs and 7 million albums worldwide, Mr. Fatt, Mr. Cook and Mr. Page ? also known as the Purple, Red and Yellow Wiggles ? have said they will depart the popular group at the end of their current tour. The three will continue to raise the Wiggles flag by writing songs and developing content. Mr. Field will be joined by Ms. Watkins, Mr. Gillespie and Mr. Pryce in those eye-popping jerseys.

Correction: November 19, 2012
An earlier version of this post misstated Kenny Curtis's title at Sirisu XM radio. He is senior director of kids and entertainment programming, not senior director of programming.
